Dual action trigger: it controls two actions, both the air flow and the fluid/product in a double stepped action. The first step is to gently press down the trigger (this releases the air flow), the second step is to pull the trigger back towards you- this controls the product flow.

Gravity fed design has a top cup/bowl in which to dispense the makeup.  

All are designed to flow smoothly and effortlessly through an airbrush with no need to dilute.

Technical Advice:

An advantage of a dual action style gun is the ability to create a steady airflow before allowing the product through the nozzle, thus eliminating an initial splatter. 

As a general rule of thumb, with a good quality airbrush (such as Ketts) any product that is fluid enough to paint should be fine to airbrush, as long as it is a liquid consistency, it can be thinned down to dilute and make it even more fluid if required. Ensure that you use the correct, corresponding liquid to thin it down, for example, use distilled water with water based formulas and with alcohol based formulas.
